Introduction
DTH hole impactor is also called pneumatic impactor, pneumatic DTH hammer. With compressed air as the power medium, the energy of compressed air is used to produce continuous impact load. Compressed air can also be used as a hole washing medium.
Pneumatic impactor has high wind pressure and low wind pressure, valve type and valve - free points. Usually the pneumatic impactor is directly connected with the carbide column tooth bit to break the rock in the impact way, and the low speed rotary full drilling without coring.
It is mainly used in hydrologic water well drilling, coreless geological drilling, geological disaster prevention and control engineering and mining drilling and other fields. Suitable for use in gravel and hard rock formations. Specially configured bits can also be used in soft soils. Mechanical drilling speed is generally much higher than that of hydraulic impactor, but it needs to be equipped with a large air compressor, fuel consumption is large, noise, dust pollution. Drilling depth is greatly affected by groundwater level and water quantity.
